Signature Cotton Sweater Vest

This is a good time of year to wear a sweater vest. I'd normally wear one with a long-sleeved shirt with a button-down collar, and if with a jacket and tie, so much the better! The sweater vest with a short-sleeved shirt is usually associated with nerds in comedy sketches.
Maybe a guy in his late teens or early twenties who is well-built and good-looking could get away with wearing a clean tee-shirt under a sweater vest in a very casual setting. I don't think anybody over thirty should attempt such a look.
